FindBugs assumes each tab is 4 spaces. Are you seeing this, or are you seeing
tabs ignored?
Changes FindBugs to allow the tab spacing to be specified is on our todo list,
but not for this release.

Tabs are not, and have never been, 4 spaces. You may indent by 4 spaces but
tabs
have always been 8 spaces. Please fix that to be the default, although because
too many people don't understand that you're going to need the option as well.
