It looks like SecurityError: The operation is insecure.. is the cause of the error. Failed to get the active browserId while starting the profiler. error comes from somewhere else and it's not the cause of this error as it's fallible.

Did you set your privacy settings to block all cookies on your browser? I did some testing locally and it appears that the profiler frontend stops working when I set my advanced tracking protection settings to strict and then select block all cookies. It's because we rely on localStorage to get the persistent locale here:
