Wow, actually I'm quite impressed with result on the first try by just adding vars/os-family/alpine.yml and making some changes on packages: The AP-ALB v0.8.7-alpha was able to run longer and only fail near the ending (restart services) see https://travis-ci.com/fititnt/ap-application-load-balancer/jobs/270524475.
Considering the work with the other OSs, the first impression on Alpine (at least using the base image from openresty) is good. And by good I mean be able to (when already working) mantain compatibility on the long run too.
For the very short term, I will not focus on Alpine, and will try to improve issues related to testinfra (#44) and maybe other changes on the main tested OSs.
