IIRC they have mentioned they won't release the outer shell model, but you're free to make your own.

Sort of. Software is open source, hardware is open enough that you can fix things yourself if you can find the parts, but not open enough to clone.

That's understandable, I don't need or want their PCB schematics. Last I heard they were looking for module developers, is that no longer the case? I'm asking because the other items I requested would go a long way to helping that, and the body shell is gonna need some kind of update for attaching a module eventually, I don't love the idea of the module depending on the header pins to hold it in place so I was thinking about printing a new bottom with some kind of support rail or shelf as part of the bottom half.

I don't strictly need it, as mentioned I can figure it out for myself but it could save a lot of time that would otherwise go into designing functions and features.

I'm pretty new to this and spending an entire day just to realize they used imperial and metric units on the protoboards was painful when I could have just gotten it right out the gate since I'm sure they have a model of the protoboards sitting around somewhere
