Are you sure, you are using 0.5
version of gulp-watch
?
from gulp-watch.
Yep.
from gulp-watch.
tasks/lint.js:
'use strict';
/**
* Module dependencies
*/
var path = require('./config.json');
var gulp = require('gulp');
var watch = require('gulp-watch');
var esformatter = require('gulp-esformatter');
var eslint = require('gulp-eslint');
var eslintStylish = require('eslint-stylish');
/**
* Expose 'gulp.task'
*
* @api public
*/
module.exports = gulp.task('lint', function() {
// tasks
gulp.src(path.tasks.src)
.pipe(watch(function(files) {
return files
.pipe(esformatter())
.pipe(eslint())
.pipe(eslint.format(eslintStylish));
}));
});
from gulp-watch.
Seems working to me:
'use strict';
/**
* Module dependencies
*/
var gulp = require('gulp');
var watch = require('gulp-watch');
var esformatter = require('gulp-esformatter');
var eslint = require('gulp-eslint');
var eslintStylish = require('eslint-stylish');
gulp.src('src/**/*.js')
.pipe(watch(function (files) {
return files
.pipe(esformatter())
.pipe(eslint())
.pipe(eslint.format(eslintStylish));
}));
from gulp-watch.
Does it format properly too? Reporting through eslint
works here. I've just checked all my dependencies manually, reinstalled and it's still not working.
from gulp-watch.
@yoshuawuyts I really don't know how proper format looks like, isn't screenshot is formatted through gulp-esformatter?
from gulp-watch.
You're talking about eslint
I think. esformatter
should be doing something like this:
src:
gulp.src(path.api.src)
.pipe(watch(function(files) {
return files .pipe(esformatter())
.pipe(eslint())
.pipe(eslint.format(eslintStylish));
}));
formatted:
gulp.src(path.api.src)
.pipe(watch(function(files) {
return files
.pipe(esformatter())
.pipe(eslint())
.pipe(eslint.format(eslintStylish));
}));
I had it working back when gulp-watch
didn't permit CLI writes on change, but not anymore.
from gulp-watch.
@yoshuawuyts yep. Saved file is formatted:
gulp.src('src/**/*.js')
.pipe(watch(function (files) {
return files
.pipe(esformatter())
.pipe(eslint())
.pipe(eslint.format(eslintStylish))
.pipe(gulp.dest('./dist'));
}));
from gulp-watch.
Lol, guess it's a slow sunday. Forgot to add a dest
. Thanks a lot man! haha
