We generally support physical table layout options through WithOptions()
interface and put those options in a namespace specific to the database it supports. I agree it would be nice to support more options across more databases, but honestly I've had far less need to do so these days with cloud hyperscaling and solid state drive SCSI arrays. I could see an on-prem Oracle DBA wanting such control, though.
overflow tablespace users
sounds like a duplicate feature from #967 - You can look at the PR for Postgres as some inspiration here #1414 , but ideally we would also have a syntax root for tablespaces. I'm not remembering how Oracle manages tablespaces, but in SQL Server, if you partition a tablespace, you have to leave the right-most partition empty at all times or it causes massive performance issues.
