This doesn't always happen. After playing more it only freezes for about 10 minutes. And if I free some additional memory by closing browsers and other tools, then it takes longer until the next freeze appears. But creating or destroying blocks has a huge influence on this. If I play a new map and don't do anything beside looking around then it pretty much never freezes.
