Actually, what version of OpenGL does this use, so that I can submit a pull request with this change?

GLFW only supports up to OpenGL 3.2, so it's safe to assume that it's not > 3.2.

And on linux, he uses glew for modern opengl. Glfw is a window and input management tool, not an extension loader. Glfw can support opengl 4.4 on all platforms with an extension loader. Macs happen to have this in one header in the system, and glow provides an option to auto-include them, and if you're on a mac, that's what happens.
