What for ? Describe use case.

Use case:
I want to use your fonts for my new web application.

1. First I choose 10 cool icons and use it. After that I want to create some experiment and use, maybe, some other icon. After that, I want to replace 5 icons by other icons again. And all these times I must select 10-20 my favorite icons, download and move to my static folder.
2. I download all icons set and then can do experiment without using your website everytime.

Having a way to select all in a group, or "batch-select" icons would be a major improvement. I was surprised that I have to select each and every icon I want to use - super annoying if I want to use a ton of icons, and will only get worse as more icon sets are added to Fontello.

Yes, multiselect is one of miss, that is planned for soon fix, with persistance.

But could you explain your use-case, when you need a ton if icons? There is a technical limit, that hinting 400 icons takes 8 seconds. That's quite big CPU use. And if you load tons of icons from different fonts, you'll 100% get conflict of CSS names & glyphs codes. Those are auto0fixed, but you will miss original values.

The use case is your tool allows me to pick and choose icons from various fonts and combine them into a wider set of fonts. For instance, I use Font Awesome. I would like to have all of its icons, but also add all of the social icons from Brandico. That would mean I would need to click 158 times.
My main goal is to be able to use all of those icons with a single font, so I am unconcerned about losing the original values and am willing to take the performance hit of having more icons.

Ok, probably, i have incorrect understanding, how development process goes. May be it's better then to generate just one font with all possible icons?

Is it correct, that you use font with maximum images for development, and then shrink it for production?

Would it be possible to add a way to add more fonts into a downloaded pack? Consider this use case:

• I generate an icon pack for my website that has Play, Pause and Stop icons.
• Suddenly, we need the Record icon as well.

Currently, it's a pain to have to re-select all icons I've selected before, then add the new icon I want. Is there perhaps a way for the downloaded pack to have, say, a link in the demo.html file to http://fontello.com/i/ecf958ee (for example) and I'd be able to go to that URL and resume where I left off? :)

Persistance is scheduled #8 . I hope, first implementation will work this week, and then it will be possible to polish things.
