Hi, I'm sorry you're having issues. First of all, are you starting the external process by going into the mod options and clicking the button to start it? By default it won't start on its own, though you can change that in the options.

What commands should I add to the config file so it can start the process when the game starts?
I took a look at the source and found the "runAtGameStart" command and I set it to True in the config file but it still didn't start the process.

Probably I am doing something wrong.

The reason I want to manipulate the config file directly is that I'm using Say The Spire mod, it's a mod that allows blind people to play the game by interfacing with the game and providing output to a screen reader, and the mod can't read the mods options.

I got it to work finally.

So I did it correctly when I added the "runAtGameStart=true" to the config file, what was happening is that when it creates the file I made the script create just to test if the mod opens the process, it turns out it creates it in the Slay The Spire folder and not in the actual script folder like when I open the script manually.

I discovered that by accident actually, but I'm glad I did.
