Hi !
That's nice to hear !
It is definitely (pretty high but not next thing I have to tackle) on my to-do list ;)
Thank you for offering your help. I think the frontend changes will be rather small in comparison to the work that has to be done/fixed on the backend for it to work.

You can share collections with a public url (to anyone who has that link)

Sorry, but i need work with one collection with two(or more) users. Include edits, not read only...

Then let's make it a feature request.

Hi! I just started using BeNotes and I'm really liking it so far, really hits an ideal point for me in terms of its features and how nice the look and feel of those features are.
This issue is the one missing feature that I would really like. My use case is that my wife and I are both using BeNotes for notes and bookmarks, but often there are collections that we want to both be able to see and edit (e.g., if we're researching what lamp to buy we'll open share a bunch of links back and forth, this would be a convenient place to put all those links).
So, mostly I am giving this issue a strong +1. I may also be able to help out with any frontend changes (I'm a full stack developes, but no experience with PHP).

So I haven't forgotten this feature and I'm still working on (even so I'm sorry that is not yet finished).
I wanted to give you a quick status update and ask you how you imagine the UI is supposed to look like. I made two different concepts but I'm open for any ideas.
version 2:

Version 1 for me :)
Looking forward to this feature - thanks!

Sorry for the slow response! Version 1 looks good to me too :)
from benotes.
No worries, it took me quite some time to start implementing this ;)
I realized version 1 is/should actually not (be) possible in most cases.
You see I think it would make a lot of sense to keep custom icons for a collection in tact while being shared. So the icon in version 1 should either be only shown if there was no custom icon set for this particular collection or maybe just simply never at all to be more consistent.
