Did I? :) MIT sounds fine, that's what (I guess you noticed) I relicensed rock to. BSD is fine too, but be careful to specify 2-clause vs 3-clause.

Yup, noticed that! Any reason why you changed the license? Thought 2-clause BSD was pretty much equivalent to plain MIT :-)

They're pretty much equivalent indeed:

• MIT: http://www.tldrlegal.com/license/mit-license
• BSD 2-clause: http://www.tldrlegal.com/license/bsd-2-clause-license-(freebsd)

The only difference seems to be that BSD 2 allows third parties to "place a warranty" on the software.

Otherwise, MIT is just kinda shorter and at least you don't have to specify whether it's 2-clause or 3-clause (or, god forbid, 4-clause). Plus Boehm GC is also X11/MIT-licensed, so the whole rock+boehm package has the same license now (except for the copyright holders!).

Ah right. Yup, makes sense! Very good then. I just added you to the README as well, guess I forgot because I didn't create the readme in the first place =D
