It appears that image bundles, or at least large images or bundles are a factor.

Try dragging smaller (or unbundled) images if you see problems in IE6. And,
please
report your findings on the [http://groups.google.com/group/gwt-dnd gwt-dnd
group],
or here on this issue.

"don't use image bundle, or don't use more than 2 different images in
imagebundle"

do you mean the drag handle???

Probably anywhere in the draggable. Experimentation may shed additional light on
this. Please let us know what you find.

We have additional confirmation in Amr's recent thread that larger image
bundles (or
perhaps larger images) cause IE6 crashes when the images are any part of a
draggable
widget.

The workaround is to place any images that may be dragged in a separate, smaller
image bundle. In the extreme case you may not be able to bundle draggable
images with
each other or other images when targeting/supported IE6.

in my case, i switched to plain new Image(URL), and the problem seems solved.

(I use plain images because I think *small* imagebundle doesn't serve any
purpose and
i have no idea what is considered *SMALL* in this case)
