And what about chmod +x composer.phar
?
from php-cs-fixer.
@jeremyFreeAgent without the shebang, it will not help.

@stof OMG it's time for me to sleep a while ! Sorry !
from php-cs-fixer.
I see the shebang now (version 0.2):
$ php php-cs-fixer.phar
#!/usr/bin/env php
...
Is this expected?
from php-cs-fixer.
Changing the phar file will make it fail as the checksum does not match anymore.
from php-cs-fixer.
To generate composer.phar, the shebang is added with $phar->setStub()
https://github.com/composer/composer/blob/master/src/Composer/Compiler.php#L100
https://github.com/composer/composer/blob/master/src/Composer/Compiler.php#L169
But here, stubs are added with $phar->setDefaultStub()
.

Ah, interesting. I actually meant changing the file directly with an editor ;)
from php-cs-fixer.
Yes but it don't add it at the beginning of the phar file.
