Hello

Can you give me some logs? I cannot reproduce this issue.
Can you try to reboot your phone (or force stop and restart the app) ? The SMS 
listener might not be correctly registered.

Are you using Hangout ? In that case, do you have the same issue with the 
command "where" ?

There's nothing relevant in the logs because when the Sms comes in, gtalksms 
doesn't hook into anything as other apps are doing.

I'm not using Hangouts, and the where command works fine. I've rebooted the 
phone, installed and uninstalled the app several times.

When you generate the logs can you confirm that the option is enabled by 
looking for the notificationIncomingSmsType setting.

Did you try the "where" command?

banner message when I connect, FYI.

By reading the logs everything looks ok.
Can you try to execute command from the app ? Go to the tab "command" and send 
the command "batt" then send me the logs.

For some reason I couldn't actually "send" the command -- I could enter it, but 
the send button would not take.  I emailed the logs.

I notice looking at the log differences between 4.4.4 and 4.4.5 that 4.4.4 
includes more settings related to notification, like notifiedAddress.

I have also the same problem but even the notification doesn't work for me with 
version 4.4.5. I restore the previous version 4.4.4 (with titanium backup) and 
everything work well.
