If it would report zero when unknown, that already would be an improvement. It goes wrong when hass knows its unknown and keeps it at the old value. Creating funky graphs.

Isn't it possible to make it output 0? Because grid consumption is 0 at those moments. Possibility this is caused by a legit error is small so having 0 over unknown would be a better solution.
