Sorry I am not a fan of GUI gparted. You can try commmd line:
sudo fdisk /dev/sda- Press key
gand confirm - Press key w
lsblk

I did what you told me to type, but the partitions came back, also on every reboot.

The fdisk reported that your SD card was mounted.
lsblksudo umount /dev/sda*sudo fdisk /dev/sda- Press key
gand confirm using keyenter - Press key
w lsblk
If the above commands don't work, please paste record too.
