This is obviously a very valid issue. The question would be do I rebuild all
4.6.3 versions with this patch? Do I replace the current builds or offer a
patched?

I would say replace current builds with patched version unless there is someone
that wants the bug...

The patch doesn't look like it would break binary compatibility so there
shouldn't be any harm replacing with patched one.

I'm compiling right now the 4.6.3 buils with this bug fix in place. Will upload
with a distinguishing name (like "Patched") and delete the current 4.6.3 builds.

New builds are updated, old 4.6.3 are deprecated. I you like Net147, you could
announce these builds on qt-interest mailing list for people who might be
interested in having the pre-built patched version.

I'm not subscribed to the mailing list but you are free to announce the builds
yourself if you want since they are your builds.

If you are interested in the equivalently patched binaries for MinGW, this
email I received from Jonathan may be helpful:

I have compiled Qt 4.6.3 MinGW patched binaries with the QtOpenGL module bug
patched.
The patched QtGui4.dll and QtGuid4.dll can be found here:
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?fqaye7pwiycv901
To use the patched binaries just overwrite the existing Qt 4.6.3 MinGW binaries
with the patched ones.
