What exactly is the question/issue?

I suppose I'd like to set the selected

Please try out version 0.3.0 which supports Polymer 1.0 . You should be able to bind to any property with notify=true.

@davorb I ended getting it to work, although it's a bit hacky: https://github.com/morgs32/angular-polymer. It's for the old Polymer. I ended up going with Angular Material, which got an update. You thinking of it for pushover?

@morgs32 I did something very similar. In the end, it felt too hacky and fragile, and I ended up using CSS-animations (I nicked some of the CSS from Polymer) and made my own directives.
