I did the following to solve the issue:

I did overwrite the ref="input" with:

const formRef = React.createRef()
ref={formRef}

Hi @hoerlanton, I have the same problem, among other things the latest update of this plugin is really too long ago, damn.

I have this dependencies:

"react": "17.0.1",
"react-native": "0.64.2",
"tcomb-form-native": "^0.6.20"

and even if I put:

const formRef = React.createRef ()
ref = {formRef}

I always get that error ... have you solved it simply with this?
