As suggested by @fitoprincipe , the sinusoidal projection can be changed to other projections ('EPSG: 4326') by setting the parameter "crs" in Export.image.toDrive.

Hi Leight, I haven't done much with MODIS, and didn't realize it is downloaded in its original projection. You can change the projection with crs parameter on Export.image.toDrive function. Anyhow both functions in this package that are for exporting (col2drive and exportByFeat) accept this argument too, just create a ee.Projection and pass it to the functions.
