Hey, no I haven't.

It's currently running on (CircleCI) linux boxes with no issue :)

What environment are you on?

What's the error message when it can't be built? It'll probably be something that'll need to be fixed in https://github.com/ngs/rb-blink1

@GeoffTidey: strange; i just ran it on a circleci box and it failed, having issues locating libusb:

Gem::Ext::BuildError: ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.

    /home/ubuntu/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.1.2/bin/ruby extconf.rb 
Package libusb-1.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libusb-1.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable

i'll bug the circleci guys i guess, but it's a bit frustrating!

Hey @imajes thanks for the error message. Did CircleCI get back to you?
Putting the guard files in the Gemfile development group will mean they won't attempt to unnecessarily load libusb.
I've updated the docs b77134f
