Agreed, this is the outcome of Nikola being something I did for my own site :-)
I have it on my queue, but volunteers encouraged!

I'll probably take a crack at it. Too many bugs in the current development version of Hyde, so I'd like to give Nikola a try.
I'm thinking a proper setup.py so it can be installed and install some scripts and be run like "nikola createsite" or something like that.

Awesome, thanks! I started to attempt it myself, but other things ended up stealing all my free time away. I shall be attempting to convert my blog over soon.
