Sorry for a late reply. Did you manage to solve this problem in the mean time?

If not then I don't know yet what have happened but I don't think you are having the problem you suggested as then gitlabform would return 401 and the output would look like this:

Aborting - GitLab test request failed, details: 'Request url='https://gitlab.company.com/api/v3/version', method=GET, data='None' failed - expected code(s) 200, got code 401 & body: 'b'{"message":"401 Unauthorized"}'''

Hi @acurus-puppetmaster , I am going to close this ticket now due to lack of activity but feel free to reopen it if you still have this problem and have time to look into this again (or if anyone else reports similar issue).
