Thanks @SEJeff for the suggestion, I'll leave it open as a future feature. Since it sends to Logstash you can use a plugin to do that but this will put another node too.

Appreciate it! There is a redis telegraf plugin but I'm not sure if it works with sentinel. If not, perhaps there is value add for redis-healthy, or you can use some of that code to improve this. Either way, OSS ftw!

I'd suggest to:

Provide a new Sender.
Provide a way to create different types of sender METRIC_TARGET=logstash|graphite|telegraf
Generify the configuration to support metric_host and metric_port instead of logstash
And maybe extract all this to different files
