Hello Gustavo, gnome 3.3.x is an unstable development series primarily intended for testing/hacking, as a result most of us don't have access to it. However, you may want to describe the error in detail (see Debugging wiki), someone may be able to help you.

I am also open to patches. And we can merge any gnome 3.3 changes into an Unstable branch in our git repo here.

P.S: you may want to start by just adding 3.3 to shell-version key in ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/[email protected]/metadata.json and then restart shell with ALT+F2, r.

Hi back, well im new to linux so i think i wont be able to help you with patches, i tried changing the shell-verision from metadata.json to 3.3 but i keep getting "extension not valid for this gnome-shell version" or something like that (i/m translating from spanish version) but thanks anyway i'll be patient!

I looked at changes in example extension from gnome-shell 3.2.1 to 3.3.2 here. There doesn't seem to be any API changes that should affect our extension.

Hi again, im really sorry i could not reply earlier, anyway I manage to get the extension enabled on the gnome tweak tool but the timer does not show in the bar and everytime I close the gnome tweak tool window the Pomodoro goes back to 'disabled' . Do you know whats going on? gnome shell version is 3.3.2

There are some API changes for extensions, as it's explained here. Unfortunately gnome-shell 3.3.x fails to work on my Ubuntu, so I can't make necessary changes yet.

Also it will be possible to store schema files (for gsettings) in home directory, so the latest version of extension should be available through extensions.gnome.org again :) but not until GNOME 3.4.

Validated as fixed in Master. Support for gnome 3.4 is in!
