Hi @sesm, for now same "bell" sound can be played when pomodoro ends with Away From Desk toggled on. It should be customizable once we move settings to GTK+ dialog. Having single notification sound I think is a better default - I've tried using both notification sounds but that made me jumpy :-)
If you're asking for the "tic-tac" ticking sound, I don't think it's reasonable to have it on a computer, on a phone or tablet - maybe. You can try it with Tomighty, to me after a while it feels like a torture, but if it really has benefits please list them here.

Thanks for quick response!
There are no obvious benefits for using "tic-tac" sound, but for certain kind of people in certain environment it is a better choice.
For example, if someone works in an office, silence is impossible. So there are 2 options: music or some monotonous sound. And some people find music too distracting and they focus better with "tic-tac" sound.
Regarding Tomighty, for some reason on my machine it fails to show any graphics after launching.
I was using http://www.focusboosterapp.com when I worked on Windows, but now I have to search for an alternative. And for now, online version of Focus Booster is the only thing that works on this machine and plays sound during sessions.

By the way, I found out, that some backgorund noise (like presented here: http://www.coffitivity.com/) helps one focus even better, then ticking sound.

Great idea! :)
Good thing that http://www.coffitivity.com/ uses HTML 5, so that you can download sound file easily if you wish ;) ...too bad they have a very restrictive license so we can't bundle it.
However, a quick search gave me a few contenders:
