To what end does this serve? I am curious why you are bothered by me not wanting to tag my project with an image which serves no purpose. I am, however, interested in accepting patches and pull requests which add functional value to GoClipse. If there is code in the project you can make use of, please grab it and incorporate it into your codebase as you see fit. If there is code you think GoClipse can benefit from, please point me to it. I don't know what I don't know.

I am open to working with anybody, but I am also extremely busy and it may take awhile to respond, at times.

OK, I see.

#43 is other issue. Code reuse and Pull Requests both require time to get familiar with code.
I am not yet using Go. The same way you are likely not using Node.js or Gradle. So what can work?
Possibly:

  • general plugins, that can be useful for developers of any language
  • common/shared news stream

Both does not seem good enough.

This issue is asking question, I don't have answers. I hoped hear yours.

Funny enough, I do use node.js and gradle on other projects. Bruno Medeiros, who runs the DDT IDE project, has been doing the majority (all) of the work on GoClipse recently. He has incorporate/reused some of his libraries in his GoClipse work. I think he would have a better idea on ways to share resources. Here is his github profile page: https://github.com/bruno-medeiros

Do you mean main development line is now https://github.com/bruno-medeiros/goclipse and @bruno-medeiros is leading it? Than it merge back here?

Hello Bruno, how possible two project can cooperate?

Main development line is still https://github.com/sesteel/goclipse , since Stanley added me as a contributor there, so I can push code directly, modify issues, etc.

I don't use node.js nor Gradle, nor have a particular interest in those, so I'm not really interested in contributing to Nodeclipse either I'm afraid. Unless someone wants to pay me for that ;)

You might be able to reuse code from Goclipse and DDT (https://github.com/bruno-medeiros/ddt). When code that can be written in a generic and IDE-independent, I always try to write in such way.

Hi Bruno

This issue started as question "What can be good from cooperation?" While there is no new answer, I am already satisfied with good conversation and finding. I advise to let more people to discover DDT project DDT-IDE/DDT#62

I have referenced DDT in http://with-eclipse.github.io/
