Just a weird seemingly random bug:
Night seems to stay wayyyyy to long when on south pole, seems to happen every year at around January.
Fixing this however would probably make a lot of science people very very mad. So just so you know, no fix is needed.

[Bug] Why is it snowing in April

I'm currently running build 2022.04 of Earth but there seems to be a bug with the weather subsystem. Currently it's the month of April and it seems to be snowing in Southern Canada, which is not the expected behaviour.

Here are my currently environment variables:

Is anyone else having this issue? I think we if add a few degrees to the bias component of the temperature function it should do the trick.

Some users are reporting the creation of this program at Unix timestamp -128,355,753,600, whereas study of the programs output puts it more in the neighborhood of -143,173,440,000,000,000.

As the initial committer, I wanted to get your take on this.

Flate earth branch

You should insert a flat earth branch to investigate all possibilities

[Feature Request]: Extend time of day form 24 to 30 hours

As life gets more and more stressful and i got a lot work to do, it would be really helpful to extend the time per day from 24 hours to 30 hours.

Proposed Tasks:

• Let Earth spin slower so a day is now 30 hours.
• Adjust moons orbit to match the 30 hours.
• Adjust life (human body, ...) to this new cycle.
• Adjust orbit of earth around the sun to fix the issue we will get with the year (maybe optional).
• Adjust suns more intense radiation to match the current status on earth (also climate).
• Fix temperature issue: as we spin slower there will be a wider range of temperatures (days are hotter as sun shines longer, nights are colder)
