I have a similar problem.

"clang-complete is no running" appear in c++-mode... There are no completion and I can't save the current work.
Even if clang-complete crash, user should be able to save his work !

Note that in c-mode, it works well.

Here is the trace of clang-complete :

libclang: crash detected during reparsing

and later :

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'
what(): std::bad_alloc
libclang: crash detected in code completion

Process clang-complete<1> erreur de segmentation (core dumped)

from emacs-clang-complete-async.
