Ahh I found the problem! You have to import these jars in the lib folder:
google-api-client-1.14.1-beta.jar
google-api-client-android-1.14.1-beta.jar
google-api-services-drive-v2-rev70-1.14.1-beta.jar
google-http-client-1.14.1-beta.jar
google-http-client-android-1.14.1-beta.jar
google-http-client-gson-1.14.1-beta.jar
google-oauth-client-1.14.1-beta.jar
google-play-services.jar
gson-2.1.jar
jsr305-1.3.9.jar

Use google-api-client-android-1.15.0-rc.jar in the Referenced Libraries.

In the manifest.xml file use:

under

application></application

Make sure using the same google-play-services.jar both in the appdatapreferences-android project and the quickstart project.
