Hey @gulien ,
you're right, they're separated. I think that is the root of why "rem" doesn't work fine. The html-tag has a font-size of zero. Usaually your browser gives the default font-size, and this function doesn't exist within the pdf creation.

If you change the example to this:

    body {
        font-size: 12px;
        margin: auto 20px;
    }
    </style>
</head>
<body>
<p><span class="pageNumber"></span> of <span class="totalPages"></span></p>
</body>
</html>

it looks like that (without the red border):

Hey @MarkTro,

Thanks for the heads up!

I had the problem that my root object (html) had had a font size of 0, which results to a footer font size of 0 as well

Interesting, I was always on the impression that most CSS were totally separate between the header/footer and the actual page.

Could you give me a working example to put in the documentation and a screenshot before/after?
