Missing dependant modules for image slider

Not sure image slider in govCMS, but FlexSlider Picture is from Picture module https://www.drupal.org/project/picture

It's been a trend that sub modules in a module package like this.

So you're saying that installing the Picture module would have brought FlexSlider Picture along too? Because FlexSlider Pic is not required by Picture (just checked then) so it still looks like FlexSlider Picture is taking up space without actually doing anything.

If that's how it turns out I'll probably delete the files to clean up a bit.

@Pixie74943 you should aim to keep modules that are delivered as part of the distribution as subsequent updates will assume their presence. If you're not planning on using them is there a requirement to remove?

@Pixie74943 it is not a good idea to delete them as this may bring a risk in maintain tasks such as update, data backup and restore etc.

When working with a complex distribution, some guidelines are suggested in Drupal (https://www.drupal.org/documentation/build/distributions)

for example:
Updating individual modules within a distribution is not recommended as well
