Technically the parser is capable of using other delimiters as well, but the question is what kind of format you expect and how the mapping is supposed to be.

Generally speaking a "txt file" has no meaningful format to parse so that's a bit difficult to offer.

You could try the "DSV File from HTTP" with the separator set to \t with the key and value columns set appropriately.

Apart from that I would like to ask you to give more concrete examples of files you would need to be accessible so we can determine the effort to support them.

@ion-storm, I am closing this issue for now. If you have any examples for text files which are not usable with our standard parser, please reopen the issue and provide them.
