Hi Dan,

This functionality is really outside of the scope of MatchTag. However I
believe the matchit plugin allows you to match tags using '%'. The
plugin is distributed as standard with Vim. See :help matchit.

So I tried out MatchIt and it's kind of awful for php mixed in with html.

    <?php echo $foo->bar?>
</div>

using matchit from the first div, hitting % jumps to -|> in $foo->bar.

your plugin's matching algorithm is clearly superior, which is why I wish it had this functionality.
