Please consider adding reports that show overviews of activities in Grocy.

For example, a parent may want to see a quick report that shows all chores performed by all users. It might look like:

All Chores Executed in the past 30 days:
5/4/2020 - change smoke detector batteries - Dad
5/2/2020 - clean bedroom - John
5/1/2020 - take out the trash - John
5/1/2020 - wash the car - Sally
4/22/2020 - bathe the dog - John
etc

and

All Food Consumed in the past 30 days:
5/4/2020 - 1 banana
5/2/2020 - 1 gallon milk
5/1/2020 - 3 eggs
5/1/2020 - 6 potatoes
4/22/2020 - 1 box of Lucky Charms cereal
etc

and

All Food Expired in the past 30 days:
5/4/2020 - 1 pack of cheese
5/2/2020 - 6 pieces of yogurt
etc

Hi, I think it would be nice to add little gamification into chores. It can be simple at the beginning - a field next ot chore entry where user can input points for chore like 1 - for empty trash, 5 - doing laundry etc. User that will do the chore will earn points. In the stats / dashboard screen there can be info who is winning in current week / month. People living together can build some contests around it and be more motivated then :)

Not the topic here, that's tracked in #444.

Is this still in the works? I would really like to have this data available through the API since I'm not using the Grocy frontend.

Each and every not closed request is supposed to be done at some point in time. But this is a hobby project and therefore there are no schedules in any manner (README ref). Please use reactions to express that you're also interested and don't spam threads, thanks.

Everything what the web frontend does and displays is already part of the API, since the web frontend uses the API for everything. And the base for anything analysis would be the chore journal which is of course already accessible via the API: https://demo.grocy.info/api/objects/chores_log

Sure, I don't really agree that showing interrest or asking about the progress of an issue counts as spam but let's agree to disagree, I'll start to use reactions if that's the preferred method from now on.

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. Maybe it's an idea to document this somewhere? I looked through the Swagger docs and traced the network requests when opening the cores journal but I couldn't find this endpoint anywhere.

Then simply have another look at /api:

This was not an intuitive place to find chore history, as I'd expect this to be in the chores section. Thanks for the reply, no need to be so pedantic.
