The idea was to actually switch from "beta" to "www" once we're happy with the site and documentation, incorporating all the feedback we've been receiving, etc.
But we could probably already use "www", and put the final definitive redirects from groovy.codehaus.org once we deem the beta period over, to get rid of the old website completely.
Anyhow, that's on the agenda, and we'll definitely make the switch at some point in the future.

I noticed the Griffon and GPars websites are down too because the link still points to codehaus

For Griffon and GPars (and actually the old Groovy website too), there's currently an ongoing outage at Codehaus which yields to 404s for all Codehaus projects using Confluence :-(
Hopefully that'll be resolved soon.
