This is because kubergrunt is using dep, but you're trying to pull it in with go modules. You need to manually lock the transitive dependencies in go modules following the Gopkg.toml here.

A PR that updates kubergrunt to use go modules would be highly appreciated as well!

Thanks for the report, but we will walk this road when we are ready to update the dependencies. Will close this issue as we don't currently have plans on updating these library dependencies any time soon.
