Looking at the examples even closer, it's hard to see how to add multiple items with the way the field nodes are implemented.

I'm having the same issue. There is an "Add another" link on the form, and it appears to enable adding the fields for multiple items, but when you hit the generator button, only the last item is actually saved in the resulting HTML, JSON, and XML files.

I'm following the instructions in the readme, and doing this manually because I don't have the means currently to install and run this app. Please see the first two comments in this thread. The readme still does not address this.
