The gtk master doesn't have this import.

Right, thanks a lot.
Turns out the Cargo.toml from SolidOak references an outdated GTK version.
My humble apologies, this is an issue outside of rust-gnome.

Yeah, that project uses a fork that's updated on its own schedule. We're working on making it possible to avoid the need for that fork.

Apparently updating the fork oakes/gtk is enough to fix the problem.

You could also downgrade glib to the version that fork expects.
