ok, i still see a big difference in how my n1 performs with this app. i'm going to do some digging. will re-open if i find something...

I've tracked down the commits that have caused this issue. It all happened on 5/31. Please reference the following:

commit: 7bee5c1 <-- everything still works great
commit: 4706b99 <-- not buildable due to an issue
commit: 3f331bc <-- shows errors in recognizing faces and drawing initial regions - they're very misshapen!

So while face recognition may not have changed, something is going on with region painting that has taken us backwards significantly in accuracy. I used a pretty simple methodology to find this: just a combination of git bisect and manual commit checkouts to compare the behavior of the application against a single constant image (a close-up of my face) on my n1's memory card.

Latest commit changes the size of the autodetected regions and accurately scales them. Let's see if that licks the issues.

looking much improved. auto-detect regions may even be a bit on the small side.

last nagging bug is default size of manually created regions when in landscape mode. they're still very wide for some reason.
