Hi apienk,

I checked your sample content and after trying it out I was able to continue with the video. I see a "continue" button in the activity (screenshot). I was also able to continue the video without answering the activity by clicking on the play button which is what the "Let the user opt out and continue" feature was designed for.

Thank you,

BV52

I don't understand. On the screenshot you posted I can only see "Check" button.

Hi BV52,

You attempted a wrong answer. Such a case is not configured in Adaptivity settings (screenshot) so Continue is displayed. But try giving a correct answer which is a situation configured in Adaptivity (screenshot) with the Opt-out option checked. In such a case, after providing a correct answer, user should be given two options: Skip or Continue. Only the Skip option is given (screenshot).

Hi apienk,

Thank you for the clarification. Although after extensive testing I still cannot reproduce the issue you mentioned. I however downloaded the test content you provided and you placed "skip" in the label for seek button. This overrides the default label for the button which is "continue". Furthermore the continue button is designed to either continue playing the video or go to the time set in the "seek to" option. If you think there is a need for additional options in the adaptivity settings feel free to post a feature request.

Hi BV52,

Thank you for putting so much effort into this issue. I can't really understand why you can't reproduce it. If something is published on H5P.org, everyone should see the same, right? I did place "Skip" in the label, because "Continue" does not suggest at all that clicking it would seek to another timecode; user would rather expect it to just continue playing. I guess you assumed that user can continue by clicking the "play" triangle and it's not a bug because it's designed to be like this. If that is the case, the functionality is completely against intuition, thus an UX issue. The user is misled by the "Continue" button and is unikely to use the play button in this case because it's not in his focus. Thanks again and feel free to do anything you like with this feedback.

Best regards,
Andrzej
