A project made for an event called Challenges Online. The goal was to, as a team, come up with an idea on the theme of 'pandemics and the environment'. We came up with the idea of an app to help keep students travelling abroad on placement years up to date with travel restrictions, required documentations, and ways of staying safe at their target university. As such, I created this app prototype, as well as a video advertisement.
There are two separate species of dot- yellow and purple- that start in two different locations in each generation, whose goal is to reach a food source. There is also a predator species with its own starting point. The yellow/purple fitness is calculated by their proximity to the food and their surivability, and the predators' are calculated by how many yellow/purples they eat. Reproduction is asexual with mutations. The continued evolution after many generations is very interesting to watch.
LittleAdversary is an adversarial machine learning library made to aid research into adversarial attacks and defences, with a primary focus on one-shot defences. It contains an end-to-end implementation of the proposed defence in 'Siamese Neural Networks for Adversarial Robustness ', complete with statistical analysis of the results.
