I'm split about this feature. Let's discuss it more before implementing it. In the absence of any structure imposed by Commons on Description, the piece of text may include information that can (subconsciously or not) hint the juror to one direction. It would be good to understand the psychological impact of such a change on the outcomes/votes before implementing it across the board. (and we can even run an experiment if the literature doesn't suggest a solution here.)

I think it's more of an optionally-enable. We've gotten a specific request for this one, for contests where the description is judged as part of the entry. I agree that for WLM it may well be a poor fit.

@mahmoud I see and of course I see the value of it when we run into issues as the one photo in WLM-US in 2016 where having the information from the description exposed could be helpful. Having it optional can be fine, and we can work with coordinators to help them understand the potential implications if you want to offer it for a contest outside of WL* model.
