I use the gpg binary bundled with git*:

• Current version is 2.2.29.
• System-wide available (%PATH%).
• GNUPGHOME is defined (user env).
• The gpg-agent daemon is running.

However, the extension doesn't seem to be able to locate it.

* git is from git-for-windows/git repo.

I had the same problem.
Can anyone tell me how to do the decryption operation using the command line? So I don't have to wait for a long time to open my encrypted files.

Hello,

i am checking this issue. I checked why this message comes. I check the location of the keyring. This failed because i did not used the path.join function to join a directory and a file safely. In utils.ts i changed the lines 79 and 80.

I use the Gpg4Win installation too. The gpg from git installation should work too, because i do not rely on fixed folders.
