Mhh, the problem here is that the exception is raised in dpkt - not in captcp. What we can do is to hide the error. To be more precise: the whole pcap header is corrupt - not just a single packet (that is what I see in the error message). So there is no possibility to ignore the packet - the whole pcap file seem corrupt.
@cclements can you open the file with tcpdump (or wireshark)?

You are correct. I tried merging several pcap files together with mergecap, and apparently it mangled a good bit of the packets.
