This may be fixed by #29 which I will hopefully get to tonight

I'm on 1.6.0 and I can confirm I'm experiencing similar issues.
Update: In thinking about it, this is usually only a problem if I've not use HomeKit for a period of time.

Yeah for me the same even with the 1.6.0 so only if I don't use it for like half an hour or so.
