@FelixAnna Hello! The command you use to check OpenVPN service status is incorrect. Try:

systemctl status openvpn-server@server

You should see that it is active and running after install. If you are unable to connect, make sure UDP port 1194 is open in your Azure server's firewall configuration in the Azure portal. OpenVPN could be blocked by e.g. the GFW. For those use cases you can try alternative solutions such as Shadowsocks.
