Hi @kamraanki - the chaincode used by this demo is actual stored in a separate git repository: https://github.com/IBM-Blockchain/cp-chaincode-v2

Here's what you will need to do:

  1. Create a fork of https://github.com/IBM-Blockchain/cp-chaincode-v2
  2. Clone your fork (e.g. my fork is https://github.com/mastersingh24/cp-chaincode-v2)
  3. Make whatever changes you want to hyperledger/cp_cc.go (don't change the cp_cc.go in the root of the repo)
  4. Commit and push your changes to your fork
  5. Now in the cp-web project on your machine, edit app.js
  6. Look for the configure_network function and then replace references to IBM-Blockchain with the name of the organization from your github fork (usually your username). For example, for me, I would change

https://github.com/IBM-Blockchain/cp-chaincode-v2/archive/master.zip
to
https://github.com/mastersingh24/cp-chaincode-v2/archive/master.zip

and

https://github.com/IBM-Blockchain/cp-chaincode-v2/hyperledger
to
https://github.com/mastersingh24/cp-chaincode-v2/hyperledger

  1. Restart your cp-web application and hopefully the new chaincode will be deployed

from cp-web.
