That's because it didn't die. It became a part of you. You are now the ender dragon. You now control the end.

Joking aside, I'm aware of this issue, forgot to list it though.

I love how long it took for you to reply! Anyways, there's been a config just for prevention of Boss morphs, I don't think there's much of I can do about morphing to bosses other than the entire prevention of it... cause enderdragons have a load of deathticks before it spawns the end portal so..
